Variable Stars

I do not normally spend a lot of time on variable stars... asteroid photometry and shape modelling takes enough of my observing time without adding more photometry to the mix!!! However, in the course of my asteroid studies, I have discovered a number of new variable stars and it has been an interesting exercise following them and trying to identify their classes. One in particular has been quite interesting and is currently to subject of an ongoing research project by one of my students.
