GSC 0008:0428

GSC 0008:0428 is a 14th magnitude star in the constellation Pisces, that I discovered it to be variable on images taken on October 14, 2012.

The 2012 observations were insufficient to determin the type and period so during 2014 I made more observations of the star. These observations confirmed my initial suspicion the the star was an Algol-type eclipsing variable and that the period was 16.3699 hours. The eclipses are almost equal in depth with an amplitude of about 0.6 magnitude.
