GSC 5581:0450

GSC 5581:0450 is a 13.8 magnitude star in the constellation Libra, that I discovered it to be variable on images taken on 30 March, 2014.

The star is a W UMa eclipsing variable with a period of about 8.7652 hours, with an amplitude of 0.45 magnitude. The secondary minimum is about 0.1 magnitude shallower than the primary eclipse. More observations would be useful to confirm these results since observations were only obtained on 2 nights.
