USNO 0943-0001247

USNO 0943-0001247 is a 16.9 magnitude star in the constellation Pisces, that I discovered it to be variable on images taken on December 12, 2012.

Only a portion of the lightcurve was covered, however enough was observed to indicate that the star is a W UMa eclipsing binary with a period of about 7 hours. With only one minimum and one maximum observed, the full period would be double that derived by the software. The amplitude is about 0.75 magnitude. However more observations are required to confirm this since observations were only obtained on one night.
