USNO 0834-0645242

USNO 0834-0645242 is a 17th magnitude star in the constellation Aquarius. I discovered it to be variable in October 2012 while analysing images taken for asteroid photometry on 14 October, 2012.

The complete lightcurve was not observed, however the portion that was observed indicated the star was a W UMa eclipsing binary. With only one minimum and maximum observed, the period derived by the software is probably only half of the true period.

Lightcurve results for USNO 0834-0645242.
The full period would be about 9.74 hours with an amplitude of 0.55 magnitude.
