Work out exercise 3.2 as well as problems 3.1, 3.4, and 3.5 in your text. Please write these up in a "complete" fashion by using some well chosen sentences and, where appropriate, diagrams. Where your text says make a sketch of a function, you should make an actual plot (using graphics software). Good Luck!

Problem 3.1 (b): If you sum the discrete probability distribution to infinity, is it normalized? You may want to check out the Maclaurin expansion of exp(x) and go from there.
