To the west (right) of M 52 is the emission nebula NGC 7635. Sky Atlas 2000 mistakenly indicates this object as a planetary nebula. It is however, an extremely hot, young, massive star that is losing mass. The more common name for the nebula is the Bubble Nebula. To the upper right is another emission nebula, NGC 7538.
