Comet 78P/ Gehrels
Comet 78P/ Gehrels is a relately distant member of Jupiter's family of comets, with an orbital period of just under 8 years, and a perihelion distance of almost exactly 2 AU. Although it remains at quite a distance, it can become relatively bright, reaching as much as 10th magnitude during a favourable return.
