Abstract submission instructions.
The deadline for receipt of abstracts on the electronic form is September 26, 2003.
Proof-read your abstract carefully before submission!
Submitting Your Abstract
To submit an abstract using the online web submission process, two things are
needed:
The number and ordering of authors and collaborations
The abstract content.
The web page will guide you through the rest. Try a test submission before
submitting your abstract. Log onto
http://abstracts.aps.org and select the
meeting TEST. Follow the directions online to create your own
practice abstract.
When ready to submit your abstract online, select the meeting (TSF03) by
clicking on the appropriate button. A form will be created for you. Simply
enter the information.
Publishing Your Abstract
All abstracts will be available on the WEB before the meeting. Links to APS
abstracts on the WEB site are maintained as an archive of meeting abstracts.
This will continue indefinitely into the future so that later you can look up
or reference the URL of your abstract. You may still choose to have your abstract
published in traditional print. To have your abstract(s) published in the
Fall, 2003 Supplement issue of the APS Bulletin, please fill out the
Abstract Publication Form, print it off
and mail it (with payment $35 per abstract, made out to Texas Section APS)
to Walter Borst at TTU Physics by October 20, 2003.
