Teaching Experience
Spring 1998 - Lab Assistant for Physics 4301/5322 Computational Physics
Currently, I am the Lab Assistant for a computational physics course for graduates students and undergraduate students. Students in this course learn a variety of computer skills from web page authoring to numerical analysis techniques. My responsibilities as the teaching assistant are to provide programming tips and computer help to the students.

Spring 1997 - Lab Assistant for Physics 3204 Intermediate Lab
In the Spring of 1997, I was the Lab Assistant for the junior level lab Physics 3204. In this lab I was responsible for assisting the students for any of the labs they choose to do. There were a variety of labs the students could choose from such as electron microscopy, electrical measurements (resistivity and Hall effect), various types of spectroscopy, electron spin resonance / nuclear magnetic resonance, and they can create their own experiment if it is of appropriate difficulty. As the lab assistant I was responsible for being knowledgeable about all the experiments.

Fall 1996 - Lab Instructor for Physics 2402 Modern Physics Lab, Physics 1103

Spring 1996 - Lab instructor for three Sophomore/Freshman physics labs.

Fall 1995 - Lab instructor for three Sophomore/Freshman physics labs.

Work Experience

Intern Experience - Houston Device Analysis Operation, Texas Instruments, Inc. Stafford, TX
In the Fall of 1997, I was a co-op student at Texas Instruments in Houston. I worked in the Houston Device Analysis Operation (HDAO) group. This group is responsible for performing failure analysis on semiconductor products. My responsibilities there included a variety of projects from editing papers for the TI Technical Journal to administering the web server for the group's failure analysis reports. I also designed and did preliminary evaluations of equipment used in the failure analysis lab.

Graduate Research Assistant - Phillips Laboratory / Space Power Lab
In the Summer of 1996, I was a graduate research assistant at the Space Power Lab in Kirtland AFB. The Space Power Lab is a division of the Air Force Phillips Laboratory group. The primary mission of the laboratory is to design and develop new energy conversion and storage devices for space power applications. While there I assisted in the testing of AMTEC cells for energy conversion. I set up calibration experiments for test cells and maintained instrumentation for test cells.
