Gamera Cluster


Gamera Mark V was installed in March of 2008 and consists of a 16-node Beowulf cluster with 64 gigabytes of aggregate RAM and 640 gigabytes of aggregate disk space combined with a 2 Terabyte raid common storage unit. The cluster was constructed from 16 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz processors connected via Gigabit ethernet.
