NOTES:

  1. Each student must have a bound notebook in which all data, notes on observations , calculations and conclusions for each experiment are to be recorded.
  2. Since the lab periods are short, you must come prepared, having studied the manual as well as the relevant part of the Physics 1408 textbook for background material.
  3. Short quizzes may be given at the beginning of a lab period over the experiment to be performed that day.
  4. Exercise care with equipment or be accountable for replacement costs. To avoid accidents, NO FOOD OR DRINKS will be allowed in the labs.
Grade scale: Same as lecture. See the Physics 1408 Course Outline.
