VBRC 1, also known as Wray 19-11 and PNG 257.5+0.6, is a moderately large but faint planetary nebula in Vela, very close to the border with Pyxis and Puppis. The magnitude is quoted as 14.0 but the light is spread out over an area more than 60" across. It was not visible in a 12" telescope. The image shows it to have an irregular ring shape.
