This photograph shows the constellations of Triangulum and Aries in a way that might be unfamiliar to northern hemisphere observers, low on the northern horizon, with Aries high above Triangulum! Such is how they appear "down under". Although it is a fairly barren region for bright stars, there are many fine deep-sky objects in this region. A few are listed below.
