TERZAN 5

Combination of 2, 3 minute exposures, Meade 416XTE CCD.
300mm f/6 newtonian at prime focus.

Terzan 5 is a very small and faint globular cluster in Sagittarius. I came across it one night when I saw it marked in MegaStar close to a comet I was wanting to image. The quoted magnitude is 13.9, so it would be a very interesting challenge for an 8" telescope.
