Barnard's Loop
Barnard's Loop is a very large arc of emission nebulosity in eastern Orion. From the shape, it looks like an ancient supernova remnent. The above image shows the northern section of the look. Also in the above image is M78 and NGC 2071, both at the lower right.
This image shows the central portion of the loop.
