Sunset over Plato as the Moon passes third quarter. To the west of Plato is the courious line of mountians called the Straight Range. Laplace Promentary, which marks the eastern end of Sinus Iridum, is visible at the right of the picture, while the crater at the top of the picture is Lambert. The pair of craters near Laplace Promentary are Helicon and Leverrier.
