PGC 1127

Combination of 10, 3 minute exposures
SBIG ST-9XE CCD. 12" f/10 schmidt-cassegrain telescope with an f/6.3 focal reducer.

PGC 1127 is a small but moderately bright galaxy on the border of Cetus and Pisces. It was in the field of comet 51p/Harrington which I was trying to image. The comet is visible to the left of the image. The galaxy just above the comet is PGC 1152. Both of these galaxies are around 14th magnitude and would be an interesting challenge for a 12" telescope.
