A beautiful blue sky gradually dims as the Sun sets in the west, promising a night of uninterupted observing. However shortly after the Sun sets clouds start to move in. The stars of the Southern Cross and Centaurus are visible between the clouds as are a number of planes. Following the "Pointers" are 3 stars in an equilateral triangle. This is the constellation Triangulum Australae.
