Meeline Astrocamps

Some of the crowd who came along on the first of the camps. When this photograph was set up we did a quick tally of the cost of the equipment that had been brought up. It turned out to be nearly 3 times the total cost of the cars that everyone had driven up in!

One of the visitors who joined us at Meeline a couple of times until he built his own observatory in Western Australia was the well-known japanese astrophotographer, Akira Fujii. He is seated next to the author second from right.
