This series of images was an attempt to capture some of the numerous faint nebulae in the direction of the centre of the Milky Way. In the end, the star clouds were so bright that only M8 is clearly visible.
Two satellites are visible in the animation. The first one is very faint and passes slowly through the middle of the view. The second is brighter and quicker, and fades at the end of the animation as it enters the Earth's shadow.
