M14 is fairly large and bright globular cluster in Ophiuchius. It was not visible to the naked eye with certainty while observing from a dark location. The outer regions are resolved with a little difficulty in an 8" telescope.

10" f/6.3 schmidt-cassegrain at prime focus.
