M107 is a moderately large and bright globular cluster in Ophiuchus. It is easily visible in binoculars, but could not be detected with the naked eye. In an 8" telescope, most of the cluster is resolved into stars, giving an excellent view.


Combination of 15, 1 minute exposures, SBIG ST9XE CCD camera.
300mm f/6 newtonian telescope at prime focus.
Taken under very poor observing conditions.
