M105 is a fairly large and bright elliptical galaxy in Leo. It is easily visible as an circular patch of light in an 8" telescope.

To the left of M105 are two more bright galaxies easily visible in an 8" telescope, NGC 3384 (top), and NGC 3389. With all 3 galaxies visible in the same field of view, my nickname for the group is the "Leo Trio mark 2".
