Large Magellanic Cloud

The Large Magellanic Cloud is one of the wonders of the southern skies. Easily visible to the naked eye even in moonlight, the Cloud abounds with interesting deep-sky objects for any sized telescope.

The animation is composed of 100, 60 second exposures. During the annimation several patches of cloud can be seen crossing the field as well as myself moving between the main dome and the other telescopes I was using..
