I spent a few nights at Chiro in January of 2013. Since this was the middle of summer, there was a good chance of thunderstorms. Sure enough, almost every night was interupted by storms to the north and east. In the first annimation below, the storms were active from around sundown. The second annimation was taken the following night well after sundown.
