Comet Kohoutek 1973f

These photographs of comet Kohoutek were made on December 4.8, 1973, when the comet was magnitude 5.2 and had a tail 1 degree long in a 20 x 65 binoculars. The comet is to the right of the tree at the bottom of the picture. In the photograph below, the streak to the left of the picture is a satelite.
