IC 972

Combination of 2, 3 minute exposures, Meade 416XTE.
8" f/6 newtonian at prime focus.

IC 972 is a small and rather faint planetary nebula in southern Virgo, close to the Libra border. It is faintly visible in an 8" telescope, appearing as a small disk with a good response to an OIII filter.
