IC 2233

Combination of 5, 3 minute exposures, SBIG ST-9E CCD.
16" f/10 with f/6.3 focal reducer.

IC 2233 is a moderately faint, edge-on spiral galaxy in Lynx. My interest was drawn to it because it is very thin. In a 10" telescope it appears as a faint, thin line, slightly brighter at the centre.
