Number 48 in the Herschel 400 list, NGC 1444. NGC 1444 is a small open cluster of mostly faint stars, surrounding a much brighter star in Perseus. The bright star is the B-type sub-giant, SAO 24248. Since it is several magnitudes brighter than the other stars in the cluster, I would suspect that this is just a foreground star.
