Number 388 in the Herschel 400 list is NGC 7331. A beautiful, large and bright galaxy, it is the brightest member of a small group of galaxies commonly known as the "Deer Lick Group". There are 6 other galaxies in the field that are 15th magnitude or brighter. In the top right of the image is the 15.2 magnitude NGC 7326. To the lower left of that galaxy is the 14.9 magnitude NGC 7325. To the left of NGC 7331, is the 14.5 magnitude NGC 7335. Just above NGC 7335 is the 14.6 magnitude NGC 7336, while below NGC 7335 is the 14.6 magnitude NGC 7337. Finally, further out to the left is the 13.9 magnitude NGC 7340.
