Number 363 in the Herschel 400 list is NGC 6830. A fairly large and scattered cluster, it is almost lost amongst the numerous background stars of the Milky Way.
Visual Observation Notes:- NGC 6830.
Large scattered cluster. Some bright stars but very many fainter stars.
18" f/5 newtonian. 16mm nagler eyepiece. 143x.
Sky View observatory. Zenith limiting magnitude 6.7.
