Visual Observation Notes:- NGC 4303.
M61! Beautiful face-on spiral. Some hint of spiral arms visibe. Very bright, circular. Bright star-like centre. Large fainter outer haze. Two other galaxies visible in field. NGC 4292 (magnitude 12.2), NGC 4301 (magnitude 12.9).
18" f/5 newtonian. 16mm nagler eyepiece. 143x.
Sky View observatory. Zenith limiting magnitude 6.7.
