Number 22 in the Herschel 400 list, NGC 598, more commonly known as M33, the Triangulum Galaxy. Generally considered a good test of how dark the skies are, M33 is visible to the naked eye under dark skies. One thing I do have difficulty understanding, is why such a prominent and well-known Messier object has been included in the Herschel observing list!
