SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 20" f/6.8 Dall-Kirkham cassegrain telescope at prime focus.
The bright streak coming from the top of the image is a diffraction spike from the 3rd magnitude chi ursae majoris, which is just out of the field.
Visual Observation Notes:- NGC 3877.
Moderately bright. Long and thin, with a bright and wider centre.
18" f/5 newtonian. 16mm nagler eyepiece. 143x.
Sky View observatory. Zenith limiting magnitude 6.4. Thin cirrus clouds passing.
