There are a few Messier galaxies in the Herschel 400 list. NGC 3556, number 166 is one of them, being also listed as M108. It is a large and bright spiral galaxy in Ursa Major. There are a number of faint galaxies in the above image, the brightest of which is the 16.1 magnitude, PGC 34128, located near the left-hand edge.
