Number 135 in the Herschel 400 list is NGC 2985.
NGC 2985 is a beautiful, face-on sprial galaxy in Ursa Major. The magnitude is around 10.4 and the Hubble classification is Sb.
Visual Observation Notes.
Moderately large and bright with a bright centre surrounded by a circular haze. Faint star on eastern edge.
18" f/5 newtonian. 16mm nagler eyepiece. 143x.
Sky View observatory. Zenith limiting magnitude 6.7.
