Gemini is a large constellation that contains numerous interesting deep-sky objects. The milky Way intrudes into the western part of the constellation and so contains a number of emission nebulae. The image abouve shows the western part of Gemini. The bright nebula att he top right corner is NGC 2175, while the one below it is . The large nebulosity at the bottom is
North-western Gemini. NGC 2175 is the bright nebula near the centre, while above it is IC 443, also known as the Jellyfish Nebula.
Central Gemini. The big mass of nebulosity is NGC 2264, also known as the Cone Nebula.
