Cygnus Rising

Low on the northern horizon, Cygnus rises.
30 second exposures. Modified Canon Digital Rebel DSLR camera.

Off to the west (left) the bright star Vega reaches its maximum altitude. Early in the animation, a bright meteor is briefly visible in the centre right of the view. Later on thin clouds can be seen drifting across the bottom of the view, while towards the end some of the stars of Pegasus can be seen rising. The occasional bright flashes on the horizon are not lightening, but the lights of tractors. Time to sow the fields is short so the farmers are frequently busy all night ploughing and seeding!
