Corona Borealis

30 minutes exposure, Fuji Superia 200 film. 135mm f/3.5 Tamron lens.

Corona Borealis, the Northern Crown lies between Hercules and Bootes. Unlike its southern counterpart, It lies in a fairly barren region to the naked eye, and so the circular shape of the constellation figure is easily discerned. The constellation contains numerous faint galaxies and a number of double stars.
