Abell 80 is a large and faint planetary nebula in Lacerta. Like all Abell planetaries, it has a very low surface brightness and is an extremely difficult object for visual observers. Unlike many planetaries in the Abell catalogue, Abell 80 is not a uniform ring, but is distinctly brighter in the eastern and western regions of the nebula.
