Asteroid 8290 1992 NP


Asteroid 8290 1992 NP is a main belt asteroid with an estimated diameter of 10 km. It was discovered on July 2, 1992 by Eleanor F. Helin and L. Lee at the Palomar Observatory. The semi-major axis is 2.34 AU, the eccentricity is 0.199 and the inclination is 11.89 degrees.

Observations of this asteroid were made on three nights during September, 2005. The resulting lightcurve indicated a period of 4.453 hours.
