Asteroid 6916 Lewispearce

Asteroid 6916 Lewispearce is a main belt asteroid that was discovered on July 27 1992 by R. H. McNaught at Siding Spring. The semi-major axis is 2.48 AU and the eccentricity is 0.262 and the inclination is 18.21 degrees.

I observed this asteroid on 5 nights between January and March 2005 for a friend from my comet observing days. This asteroid was named for his son who died in infancy. Despite the several nights of observations the lightcurve was too noisy for any reliable period to be derived.
