Asteroid 6790 Pingouin is a main belt asteroid that was discovered on September 28, 1991 by S. Otomo at Kiyosato. The semi-major axis is 2.10 AU and the eccentricity is 0.206 and the inclination is 11.11 degrees.
I observed this asteroid on 2 nights during July 2005 when it was in the field of another asteroid I was observing. However no reasonable period to be derived.
