Asteroid 6746 Zagar


Asteroid 6746 Zagar is a main belt asteroid with an estimated diameter of 10 km. It was discovered on July 9, 1994 by Osservatorio San Vittore at Bologna. The semi-major axis is 2.49 AU, the eccentricity is 0.158 and the inclination is 12.71 degrees.

Observations of this asteroid were made on six nights during August 2011. The resulting lightcurve was very asymmetrical with one peak was substantially greater than the other, and the two minima also unequal. The derived period was 8.136 hours.
