Asteroid 4497 Taguchi


Asteroid 4497 Taguchi is a main belt asteroid with an estimated diameter of about 10 km. It was discovered on January 4, 1989 by Kin Endate and Kazuro Watanabe at Kitami. The semi-major axis is 2.43 AU, the eccentricity is 0.269 and the inclination is 9.76 degrees.

This asteroid was observed on two nights during December 2003. A period of 5.343 hours was derived from the data, however the data are quite noisy and more work is required on this asteroid to confirm this period.
