Asteroid 1816 Liberia is a main belt asteroid that was discovered on January 29, 1936 by C. Jackson at Johannesburg. The semi-major axis is 2.05 AU and the eccentricity is 0.218 and the inclination is 26.14 degrees.
I observed this asteroid on 1 night during February 2004. No reliable period could be determined, however it was clear that the asteroid had a short period and a fairly large amplitude.
