Asteroid 152679 1998 KU2


152679 1998 KU2 is a Apollo asteroid with an estimated diameter of 10 km. It was discovered on May 22, 1998 by LINEAR at Socorro. The semi-major axis is 2.25 AU, the eccentricity is 0.554 and the inclination is 4.91 degrees.

The object was observed on 4 nights during June, 2015. Exposures had to be kept fairly short as the asteroid was moving across the sky fairly quickly. As a result the data were rather noisey, effectively preventing a relaiible determination of the period.
