Comet 1999 WJ7 Korlevic

At the start of 2001 there were several faint comets to keep CCD imagers busy even if they were generally too faint for visual observation. One of these was 1999 WJ7 Korlevic. During January, the comet was around 16th magnitude with a nice tail.

The bright streaks in both images are satelites.
