Comet 1999 H3 LINEAR

Comet 1999 H3 LINEAR was a relatively faint comet that had a perihelion distance of over 3.5AU. As a result it remained at around 13th magnitude for a little over a year. I imaged this comet on two occassions in January 2001 when the comet was at about magnitude 16 and fading steadily. At the time the comet had a "bright" central condensation surrounded by a faint outer coma and displaying a very faint, short tail.
